Video games and comics have always played a major role in shaping how many of us—both young and old—view the world. As modern vehicles for storytelling, these mediums have inspired millions with the narratives they tell and the shared experiences they create.

I’m excited to share a piece of my story—told through my lens and the toys that helped shape my imagination.

~ Malcolm Taylor

Malcolm Taylor's upcoming exhibition in Benton Harbor, MI, promises to be an adventurous exploration of storytelling through the playful lens of action figure photography. Known for his inventive vignettes that bring miniature worlds to life, Taylor is stepping into the gallery scene for the first time, offering a unique opportunity for audiences to engage with his creative narratives in a new dimension.

This exhibit holds special significance as it coincides with the birthday of the late Richard Hunt, a celebrated sculptor whose legacy continues to inspire artists worldwide. In a collaborative tribute, the Richard Hunt Studio Center and Taylor have united to publish a limited edition book. This limited edition publication integrates images of Hunt’s iconic studio into Taylor's imaginative settings. Visitors to the exhibition will not only witness the vibrant stories told through Taylor's lens but also partake in a celebration of artistic heritage and innovation.
